Priya Patel is a Policy Manager specialising in combatting online child safety and child sexual exploitation and abuse (CSEA). She leads policy development, stakeholder engagement, and evidence informed strategy to strengthen protections for children across digital environments, ensuring policy is grounded in frontline practice and research.
Previously, Priya worked as a policy professional at The Children’s Society, a national children’s charity, where she helped bridge the gap between practice and policy by translating lived experience and service level insight into advocacy and lobbying for change for children.
Priya works closely with law enforcement, safeguarding professionals, NGOs, academics, and regulators to improve coordinated responses to child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
