Ngaire Alexander is a safeguarding and online harms specialist with over 15 years’ experience across law enforcement, children’s services, and the international NGO sector. A former Detective Inspector, she spent a decade in the online child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) space, leading serious and complex investigations and contributing to national vulnerability work with the National Police Chiefs’ Council.

She held senior roles at Action for Children and the Child Rescue Coalition before joining the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) in 2025, where she is now Head of Hotline, leading the organisation’s proactive response to online CSAM and embedding a trauma-informed, welfare-focused team culture.
