Emma is an experienced investigator and leader with a career dedicated to public protection, ethical leadership, inclusion, and wellbeing. Having served across child and adult sexual abuse investigations, domestic abuse, hate crime, counter-terrorism, neighbourhood policing, and response policing, she currently works within the Police Online Investigation Team tackling child sexual abuse material.

Committed to improving outcomes for both victims and policing professionals, she has led significant wellbeing initiatives to address trauma-related risks within specialist investigative teams. She is also a strong advocate for better support for indirect victims of online child sexual abuse.

Driven by innovation and continuous improvement, she has developed successful partnerships with government, industry, academia, and charities, including leading a nationally adopted Deepfake awareness campaign in collaboration with BT/EE, the Home Office, and the Internet Watch Foundation.
